Overview

Pride Resource Partners is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale UAS and aerial utility inspection programs. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations across multiple field teams—including drone pilots, utility inspectors, and safety personnel—while ensuring that all activities meet established safety, quality, and performance requirements.

The Project Manager will serve as the primary operational link between internal leadership, field operations, and client representatives, overseeing scope execution, schedule adherence, and program performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and performance of multi-region aerial inspection programs for transmission and distribution infrastructure.
  • Oversee coordination between UAS, helicopter, and ground-based inspection activities to ensure safe, efficient, and deconflicted airspace operations.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure production, quality, safety, and program compliance.
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, and scope changes to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities, safety expectations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support onboarding, , and training for field teams.
  • Conduct and document program performance meetings, audits, and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Management Team responsible for the oversight of operational safety, ensuring compliance with all Safety Management System (SMS) elements.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to enforce processes for data collection, imagery upload, and deliverable validation.
  • Collaborate with internal GIS, safety, and quality teams to resolve operational constraints or performance variances.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in drone and helicopter-based airspace management and coordination, including controlled-airspace operations and deconfliction planning.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in UAS, aviation, or utility inspection operations.
  • Proven ability to develop, track, and report KPIs through dashboards and operational performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of FAA Part 107 regulations, COA procedures, and aviation safety best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams across large geographic regions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and client interface skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software, cloud-based data systems, and field reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed to field locations.

Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Currently holds a valid FAA Part 107 certification.
  • Background in utility inspection, wildfire mitigation, or critical-infrastructure programs.
  • Familiarity with Safety Tier 1 operational frameworks and aviation risk-assessment methodologies.
  • Experience implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Operational Risk Assessments (ORAs).
  • Working knowledge of GIS data management, aerial imagery systems, and inspection analytics.

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Hybrid role with both office, remote, and field engagement; routine travel to active project areas required.
  • Must maintain availability for time-critical communications during flight operations and project milestones.
  • Expected to model and enforce company safety culture and professionalism in all operational settings.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Full-time, exempt position with competitive salary and performance incentives.
  • Includes travel reimbursement and project-based allowances.
  • Long-term program assignment with potential for multi-year renewal.
