Join Our Overnight Grocery Team!

We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Grocery Stocking Team Member to support our team in receiving, preparing product, and maintaining our store environment to the highest standards. As a crucial part of our grocery team, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have an outstanding shopping experience. Help us uphold the positive image of our store through friendly service and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all products meet quality standards.
2. Accurately sort and manage waste.
3. Maintain high production standards throughout your shift.
4. Stock and clean shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
5. Organize back stock efficiently.
6. Handle invoices for products delivered outside of regular receiving hours.
7. Check in products correctly and report any issues.
8. Receive and distribute products to the sales floor and back stock as needed.
9. Assist with receiving and sorting overnight deliveries for various teams.
10. Arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work, maintaining attendance for scheduled shifts and trainings.
11. Deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer needs and utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
12. Maximize sales potential through effective stocking and merchandising practices.
13. Follow established procedures regarding weights and measures, health and sanitation, and overall safety.
14. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
15. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accurate pricing and signage.
16. Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
17. Carry out additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Job Skills:

• Ability to learn the basics of all products in the department.
• A keen eye for product quality and freshness.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with a team.
• Ability to address customer service needs effectively.
• Follow directions and procedures effectively with strong time management skills.

• A strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• No previous retail experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Spend 6-8 hours standing/walking during an 8-hour shift.
• Perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Work with FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Adapt to temperature variances up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in both wet and dry conditions.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Use tools and equipment including knives and pallet jacks safely.
• May require ladder use.
