Job Title: Android Developer

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and native Android app development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing mobile applications that deliver a seamless user experience. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Implement modern UI/UX designs and ensure smooth performance across devices.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for data communication.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Work closely with QA teams to develop unit tests and support automated testing.
• Monitor app performance and errors using tools like Splunk and Crashlytics and proactively identify and fix issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Android app development using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile design principles.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with GraphQL integrations.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in unit testing and automation testing for mobile apps.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Splunk or similar logging/monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Crashlytics for crash reporting.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
