Software Engineer role at G2 Ops, Inc.

Location: San Diego, CA at our G2 Ops office and customer site

Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, and/or flexible working hours; not a fully remote position

Looking to Start: September 2025

Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 plus benefits

Openings: 1 Full-Time Role

Knowledge Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, Groovy, and SQL for data ingestion scripting
• Experience automating MBSE-to-Foundry integration pipelines
• Knowledge of data quality assurance and transformation processes
• Ability to build scalable, reusable data tools for team-wide use
• Familiarity with Slate visualization configuration
• Professional experience applying programming concepts
• Experience with modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps)
• Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification

Years of Industry Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions
• Automate processes and build scalable data tools
• Ensure data quality and integrity across pipelines
• Collaborate in a team applying modern software development practices

Qualifications & Additional Information

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related technical field
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Notes: This role requires work at a military site as well as the G2 Ops office; telework may be possible with prior approval due to project security classifications.
