RF/uW Solutions Engineer (Recent Graduate)

Responsibilities

Keysight is looking for an RFuW Field Application Engineer who will work closely with our field sales team to understand customer measurement challenges, demonstrate Keysight solutions, and enable our customers to be successful.

• Lead Keysight's customer engagements from a technical perspective.
• Own the technical solution development, demonstration, proposal, and in some cases delivery.
• Team with sales professionals, industry solution teams, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities.
• Create demand for Keysight's products and services through presentations, seminars, and demonstrations.
• Develop and build long‑term relationships and loyalty with customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS required, MS preferred in EE/CS/ECE or equivalent education with background in Telecommunications, Radar, and/or RF systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
• Strong understanding of RF and microwave test and measurement applications, emphasis on vector network analysis and IQ modulation.
• Passion for continuous learning.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Python, MATLAB, C preferred.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective presentation and problem‑solving skills.
• Field job: capable of driving a company vehicle and transporting test equipment to/from customer sites.

Desirable Background

• RF/uW/mmW systems and component test with modern VNA's, signal generators, and signal analyzers.
• Space & Satellite communications and test systems.
• Radar & Electronic Warfare test systems.
• Technology in communication standards such as 5G, 802.11, LTE.
• Semiconductor test.

Compensation

This position is compensated by a 90% base salary and 10% commission. Targets are 100% of sales at 100% of target pay, with higher commission rates once exceeded.

California pay range: $97,490.00 - $209,050.00. For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
