In privacy law and data protection at PwC, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations, help businesses navigate the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, and confirm compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Working in this area, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information.

Opportunity

As part of the Privacy Law and Data Protection team you will lead the implementation of innovative privacy solutions that safeguard client data. As a Manager, you motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional quality while managing client accounts and driving strategic initiatives that align with PwC's values and purpose. You oversee project management, foster a collaborative team environment, and uphold professional standards in activities.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide team members to achieve quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in privacy / data protection.

What Sets You Apart

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Obtaining IAPP certifications such as CIPM, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/C, CIPT, CDPSE; Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP).
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of privacy regulations and standards.
  • Exhibiting hands‑on experience with privacy technologies.
  • Possessing extensive understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Leading end‑to‑end privacy technology implementations.
  • Analyzing and designing software enhancements for privacy.
  • Managing and mentoring teams of privacy engineers.
  • Defining KPIs for privacy technology effectiveness.
  • Staying current on evolving privacy standards and technologies.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
