SERVPRO of La Jolla is excited to be hiring for various positions including Water Damage: Lead & Helpers, Contents Movers, Reconstruction Trades (Drywall, Carpentry, etc.), Office Staff, and Sales & Marketing. SERVPRO Cleaning & Restoration specializes in disaster restoration: Water Damage, Mold Decontamination, Smoke, Fire, Restoration and Reconstruction services. We also have the resources to respond faster to any size disaster.

Water Damage and Contents Duties

• Be able to identify and execute scope of work
• Coordinate, schedule, and supervise completion of all on-site activities
• Insure that the quality of work being performed is up to industry and owner standards
• Maintain job documentation of conditions, activities, and communications
• Identify and develop processes and procedures to solve problems
• Encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately
• Maintain a clean vehicle, job site, equipment, including Servpro warehouse
• On-call and available for 24hr emergency service work (on rotation)

Reconstruction Trade Duties

• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Complete projects in allotted time
• Be able to handle all drywall textures and finishes.
• Handle light finish carpentry (baseboards, door casing, etc.)
• Identify and develop processes and procedures to solve problems
• Ensure job site safety

Office Staff

• Complete internal job file quality reviews
• Coordinate crew and job scheduling
• Perform basic accounting functions such as accounts payable and accounts receivables
• Perform detailed and accurate date entry
• Assist other departments, as needed

Sales & Marketing

• Coordinate and plan special events, community outreach activities and vendor booths
• Maintain relationships with clients through assigned route sales
• Input sales activities and marketing appointments into Sales tracking Software
• Meet with potential clients presenting our Disaster Recovery Profiles
• Position 20% office and 80% field time
• Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments, maintaining assigned contact lists and stay current with sales routes, local insurance adjusters and property managers, participating in professional associations, providing lunch-and-learns, and promoting continuing education courses
• Conduct objective-to-objective daily marketing contacts, build customer relationships and rapport by educating them on the reasons SERVPRO is the best cleaning and restoration company in the world, compile and maintain center of influence information., identify "Target 25" (Top 25 contacts to develop into clients)
• Provide owners and marketing managers with one-on-one meetings (closing appointments) with Centers of Influence (COI's) to encourage SERVPRO referrals
• Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving sales territory goals

Requirements: Valid California Driver's License, with a reasonable driving record. Pass a background check. Able to work after hours and weekends if needed. Work without direct supervision. Proven abilities in a customer-oriented environment. IICRC certifications a plus. High level of personal and professional integrity, determination and dedication.
