We are seeking a Systems Analyst II to support, maintain, and improve our applications and integrations in a cost‑effective, secure, high‑performing, customer‑centric manner. The role works across the organization to help IT achieve business goals.

What You Will Do

Application Support

• Provides application technical support to Program Teams.
• Learns business processes related to application and integration workflows.
• Troubleshoots and resolves application and integration incidents and problems.
• Formulates and presents solutions to application issues.
• Remediates simple application issues and runs them through the team's delivery cycle.
• Documents incidents and problems with appropriate detail.

Improving Supportability

• Analyzes support pain points and proposes solutions for recurring incidents.
• Participates in the design and development cycle of the team.
• Advocates the inclusion of non‑functional requirements to enhance business processes, operations, and information flow.
• Addresses issues proactively by implementing technical improvements.
• Assists the program team in release activities.
• Documents the disposition of production deployments to provide accurate metrics.

Collaboration

• Partners across business units with Architects, Systems Analysts, and Technical Leads on system design to provide desired functionality.
• Works closely with the development team to evaluate technical design alternatives.
• Facilitates design workshops and ongoing interactions with key stakeholders to determine detailed requirements.
• Ensures non‑functional requirements, including UX, scalability, performance, supportability, and reliability, are identified and considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

• Insurance certifications NTH (CPCU, ARM, AIC, AINS) preferred; domain expertise: CSM or CSPO preferred.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Specialized certifications in MuleSoft and SAP systems (FI, CD, ICM, and/or BP) preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Working knowledge of information systems design and analysis.
• Experience with web‑based applications and intranet portals, and analysis of business processes.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
• Familiarity with application performance and monitoring (APM) and profiling tools.
• Ability to diagram critical processes for application/integration.
• Ability to write intermediate SQL and Splunk queries and create simple dashboards for support purposes.
• Intermediate understanding of non‑functional requirements, system engineering, object‑oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, architecture standards, API standards, SDLC framework, and infrastructure/application components.

Salary and Benefits

The current salary range for this position is $83,017.13 – $140,002.70, exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final base salary will be determined by experience, education, and location.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision plans; 401(k) retirement plan with company match; bonus potential; paid time off (5.23 hours per pay period, equal to 17 days per year); 11 paid holidays; and 100% support for continued learning.
