Meet The Team
This is a high functioning team that is focused on Global Sensor Process Development. We work on supporting the sensor process from design to end of life (and everything in between). We work both globally and cross‑functionally to achieve these goals.
Where You Come In
- You will be responsible for new product transfer and the scaling and development of commercial product.
- You will be working with partners to define the process limits for formulations and dipping processes.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and cross‑functional team members that support launch, contract manufacturing and internal production of sensors and sensor processes with the goals of scaling, improving quality, reducing costs and ensuring stability of the manufacturing processes.
- You will support comprehensive solutions supporting manufacturing yield, quality, customer needs, on‑time delivery, safety, inventory control, productivity, manufacturing efficiencies, cost reduction, and regulatory compliance.
- You will champion strategies and lead change initiatives; identify the best approach for implementing process, implementing root cause analyses and problem solving systems such as DMAIC, A3, Lean Six Sigma across the engineering team, PFT and cross‑functionally.
- You will manage outcomes with cross‑functional departments in the areas of Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, R&D, Supplier Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.
- You will assess engineering/cross‑functional resource and equipment requirements, adjust/plan to meet needs of the corporate goals and product development roadmap, to provide support for commercialization.
- You will lead overall technical strategy with assistance of the Operations leadership team in the realm of sensor development and business continuity.
- Develop team and provide department direction. Provide weekly/monthly update and reports as needed.
- This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
What Makes You Successful
- You will have had previous direct experience in medical device industry or other FDA regulated environment.
- You have the ability to manage projects, teams, maintain timelines, transfer technology and execute projects in an R&D environment.
- You must have a strong background and previous experience in chemical engineering and polymer synthesis.
- You must be proficient in chemical analytical techniques.
- You have proficiency with engineering software tools, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis (JMP, Minitab).
- You have the ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty, dynamic environment and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
- Proven ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and management skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.

Travel Required
Experience And Education Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
- Requires a degree in a technical discipline
- 5–8 years of previous people‑management experience
Salary
$149,000.00 – $248,300.00
