Histology Position In San Diego, Ca

The histologist makes sure the histology lab runs smoothly while also meeting high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lab Work Handle tissue processing, cutting, staining, and making slides for research and diagnosis.
• Ensure Compliance Follow all safety and industry regulations (CAP, CLIA, etc.).
• Keep Things Organized Manage specimens, maintain records, and properly handle hazardous materials.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors or Associates degree in science.
• Some histology experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Certification (HT or HTL from ASCP) and experience with digital pathology are a plus.
