Introduction to the job
As the Continuous Improvement Lead, you will focus on identifying opportunities for improving workflows within operations. This role includes facilitating the continuous improvement mindset and driving those improvements within the department. This role reports directly to the Head of Planning and Logistics.
Role And Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing workflows using process mapping tools (e.g., flowcharts, SOPs) to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Identify inefficiencies and implement Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies to streamline workflows
- Lead change initiatives across departments, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems
- Monitor KPIs and continuous improvement metrics, report progress to leadership, and adjust strategies as needed
- Use statistical analysis and reporting tools to track progress and inform decision-making
- Collaborate with process owners and key users to ensure alignment and adoption of new processes
- Model a continuous improvement mindset and coach team members throughout the organization
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process optimization, planning, or operations management
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Experience with project management tools
- Proven ability to analyze and streamline processes
- Knowledge of MRP Database (SAP a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Role within Office
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Role within the Factory
- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Must be willing to lift up to 20 pounds, pull 20 pounds at least once a day and spend the majority of time (greater than 90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking three to five miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for nine hours.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Salary and Benefits
The current base annual salary range for this role is currently: $94,125-156,875
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job‑related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
