WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a SkillBridge training opportunity open exclusively to transitioning U.S. military service members. As an Associate Project Manager intern, you'll support our Project Management team and gain exposure to real-world AV project delivery, client communication, and operational workflows.

This hands-on experience is designed to build a strong foundation in project coordination and prepare you for potential career opportunities post-transition.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities

• Learn and follow AVI-SPL project management processes and tools
• Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation
• Participate in internal and external project kick-off meetings
• Support internal and external communications related to project status
• Monitor progress through site reports and raise issues as needed
• Assist with closeout documentation and project wrap-up tasks
• Shadow experienced Project Managers across different phases of the project lifecycle

• Active duty service member approved for SkillBridge participation
• Interest in project coordination, operations, or AV/technology
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment

• Prior exposure to AV or IT systems
• Familiarity with tools like Excel, Smartsheet, or scheduling software
• Comfort in customer-facing or field environments

• Real-world experience in a high-growth industry

• Format: On-the-job training + online resources
• Length: ~120 days
• Compensation: This is an unpaid internship through the DoD SkillBridge program. Participants will continue to receive military pay and benefits during the training period.
