Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to ensure that all human resources (HR) operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects. An HR Director must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. You should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset. The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.

Pay Range: $75,000 to $125,000 Annual Salary

The essential duties of the HR Director include:

1. Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training, and development.
2. Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics.
3. Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance.
4. Serve as the point of contact for employment relations.
5. Advise and support the leadership as a strategic partner, providing options, insight, training, and solutions.
6. Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
7. Deal with grievances and violations, invoking disciplinary action when required.
8. Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
9. Analyze and report data using HR metrics.
10. Maintain and process all employee records, documents, and files, including termination, new hires, change-of-status, and leave-of-absence.
11. Process all vendor payments and check requests and ensure that billing is accurate and timely.
12. Answer general questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
13. Prepare, audit, and organize payroll data/changes for assigned pay periods, as received.
14. Coordinate administration of the hospital benefits program, including enrollment, verification, billings, and appeals.
15. Assist in the coordination of benefits information programs for open enrollment and new hire orientation.
16. Work on special projects, as assigned.
17. Assist in the recruiting, screening, selection, and placement of job applicants, including processing of all pre-employment requirements.
18. Monitor, track and ensure all regulatory compliance requirements for staff are met, such as licenses, health screening, education, and other JACHO, CMS and internal requirements.
19. Uphold the Organization's ethics and customer service standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

1. Participating in staff hiring and evaluations.
2. Provide supervision to employees.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Five years of HR experience including employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
2. Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
3. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
4. Knowledge of The Joint Commission, Title VII, Federal and State regulations.
5. Microsoft Office Skills.
6. Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking skills.
7. High School Diploma is required.
8. BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration or MS/MA in Human Resources will be a plus.
