Operations Support Compliance Auditor at Car‑X Tire & Auto

Base pay range

$68,000.00/yr – $85,000.00/yr

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations Support, the auditor will evaluate, inspect, audit, and determine the effectiveness of compliance and store operational tasks. The auditor will visit store locations daily and perform regularly scheduled audits. The role requires establishing strong credibility with Monro field teammates and field leadership, maintaining a positive and constructive attitude, and operating at the crossroads between the Store Support Center and field management.

Compensation

• Salary range: $68,000 – $85,000
• Potential additional compensation and incentives, determined based on experience level

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned Tire Cycle Counts (TCC), Oil Cycle Counts (OCC), Physical Inventories (PI), Lift Inspections, Safety Audits, and Building & Equipment Inspections.
• Train teammates on how to complete TCC, OCC, PI, Lift Inspections, and Safety Inspections.
• Support Loss Prevention with investigations on occasion.
• Collaborate with the Director, Internal Audit, and operational functions to develop remediation activities.
• Develop recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Participate in POS Testing on occasion.
• Assist with other projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Schedule and prepare for store compliance visits up to 13 weeks in advance.
• Communicate audit results with store and district leadership.
• Maintain Asset (building and equipment) safety and operational readiness audits at each location.

Communication

• Work closely with field leadership to ensure compliance initiatives are communicated and executed on time.
• Build strong partnerships between the Store Support Center and field.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of retail management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with a wide variety of people confidently and assertively.
• Self‑directed team player capable of managing multiple activities.
• Pro‑active and process‑driven.
• Result‑oriented with the ability to interface with all levels and build consensus for solutions.
• Proven influence and collaboration skills; effective at interacting with management to identify, develop, and implement process compliance and improvements.
• Flexible and adaptable to different work groups, styles, and environments.
• Creative problem‑solving ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including presenting to large groups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and highly driven.
• Works well in a collaborative environment.
• Travel 75%+ in field operations.
