Frederick Fox is partnering with a fast‑growing, private equity‑backed organization in San Diego that's in the middle of an exciting transformation and full‑scale roll‑up strategy. Multiple acquisitions are planned annually, and they're building a centralized, scalable accounting infrastructure to support that growth.

The Corporate Controller will be at the heart of this evolution — leading accounting integration across five entities (soon to be four), tightening the close process, centralizing payroll, and ensuring GAAP compliance across the board.

What You'll Do

• Lead the monthly close, consolidate accounting across multiple entities (AP, AR, payroll, GL)
• Standardize reporting, internal controls, and GAAP‑compliant policies
• Oversee payroll consolidation (currently across four platforms)
• Partner with leadership on M&A due diligence and integration
• Manage QuickBooks Online and future system transitions

What You'll Bring

• Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience in a PE‑backed company
• Strong understanding of GAAP and multi‑entity accounting
• Track record of improving close timelines and building scalable processes
• Experience supporting M&A and post‑acquisition integration
• Hands‑on leader who thrives in dynamic, high‑growth settings
