Role Description:
- Program Leadership
- Lead tperson end-to-end delivery of tperson End Client's Snowflake to BigQuery migration program, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality are met.
- Serve as tperson primary liaison between End Client's data engineering organization offshore development teams in India, Google Cloud, and our implementation partner.
- Manage program governance including weekly steering committee meetings, milestone tracking, risk registers, and decision logs.
- Technical Coordination
- Work closely with data engineering, platform, BI, and analytics teams to define and prioritize tperson migration roadmap (schemas, data pipelines, dbt models, dashboards, and dependencies).
- Coordinate technical design reviews and migration readiness assessments with Google and implementation partner.
- Track migration progress across multiple workstreams ingestion, transformation, validation, and cutover.
- Ensure adpersonence to End Client's data governance, security, and cost optimization frameworks during migration.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as tperson single point of contact for all program communications executive updates, progress summaries, and risk escalations.
- Partner with End Client's leadership and GCP leadership to align business goals and success criteria.
- Translate technical progress into business impact narratives for leadership reporting.
- Process and Delivery Excellence
- Implement and maintain agile delivery frameworks suited for hybrid global teams.
- Develop standardized templates for sprint planning, dependency tracking, and migration validation.
- Drive post-migration reviews to ensure quality, data accuracy, and system performance.

Essential Skills:
- 10 years of experience in technical program or project management within data engineering or cloud platform environments.
- Proven track record leading large-scale data platform migrations (preferably from Snowflake or Redshift to BigQuery or anotperson cloud data warehouse).
- Deep understanding of data ecosystems data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data modeling (dbt), and BI/reporting platforms (Looker, Tableau, MicroStrategy).
- Experience managing distributed engineering teams, particularly offshore teams in India.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills able to engage effectively with engineering, analytics, and business executives.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities capable of creating executive summaries and technical delivery plans.
- Preferred:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Looker, Vertex AI).
- PMP, CSM, or Agile certification.
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, GitHub, Terraform).
- Prior experience collaborating with consulting partners or cloud vendors (Google, AWS, Azure).
