Overview

The Oshman Family JCC (OFJCC) is one of the nation's foremost Jewish Community Centers, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. With more than 400 employees, a dynamic campus, and a vibrant membership, the OFJCC is a hub of Jewish life, cultural engagement, early childhood education, camps, fitness, and community programs that serve thousands each week.

Salary range: $210,000 - $240,000/annual

This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as partner and advisor to the CEO on strategic business matters
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational growth and impact
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, tax regulations, and grant requirements
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and investment advisors
• Lead and mentor finance staff
• Collaborate with program and development teams to align financial planning with mission delivery
• Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting to all governmental agencies, funders, and foundations
• Fulfill long term cash planning and needs of the JCC, including 10-year projections
• Support the Board of Directors and Finance Committee with timely and transparent reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Financial management
• Deep understanding of nonprofit accounting, compliance, and financial management
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
• Experience with endowments, restricted funds, and grant reporting a plus
• Working knowledge of NetSuite and QuickBooks is desired
