We are seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise Architecture who has a solid technical background combined with strong leadership skills. Our ideal candidate has advanced from roles such as programmer, database administrator, or systems operations into a solutions or data architect position. A profound understanding of Data Architecture and experience with Cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, is essential.

Our technology ecosystem is built on a diverse stack, predominantly utilizing AWS technologies along with Snowflake tools. You will be instrumental in designing and articulating our technology strategy and vision. This role requires excellent social and communication skills, allowing you to influence and collaborate effectively with various teams while maintaining tactfulness and minimizing friction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Data and Product teams to design and architect solutions, strategizing integrations that support our evolving data vision.
• Develop comprehensive architectural plans and evaluate the cost and feasibility of system requests to align with strategic company needs.
• Lead Solution Architects in creating complex solutions that align with our business model and objectives.
• Facilitate technical discussions that bridge the understanding between business and technical stakeholders across the organization.
• Guide Solution Architects in providing strategic consulting on complex projects, including technical evaluations and fit for purpose assessments.
• Maintain and update key Enterprise Architecture deliverables while driving consensus and publishing enterprise data models.
• Influence the architecture and design of our Data Lake and Data Pipelines for Master and Reference Entities.
• Partner with the Data team for oversight on Master Data Management of vital Entities.
• Potentially manage direct reports in the future.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of experience in multiple IT disciplines, focusing on data and analytics management, and design/implementation as a solution/data architect.
• Hands-on experience with Data and Analytics architecture design and implementations, especially in AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and Event Streaming Platforms (e.g., Kafka).
• Familiarity with security principles, networking technologies, infrastructure, and cloud design.
• Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Lean methodologies.
• Understanding of Architecture Patterns and Design.
