Attorney Position – Common Interest Developments

We seek an attorney with 1‑3 years of experience. We recognize that representing common interest developments is a niche, so we are willing to provide training. The ideal candidate will also bring expertise serving non‑profit boards, community associations, or similar clients. Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of issues affecting common interest developments.
- Draft a wide range of legal documents, including opinion letters, corporate guidance, legal advice, motions, pleadings, discovery, and more.
- Attend and represent clients at court appearances as required.
- Participate in client meetings and provide thoughtful, strategic legal counsel.
- Attend evening HOA board meetings as needed to support our clients in real time.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with property managers and board members across our diverse client base.

Our firm primarily represents boards of directors for community associations, including condominiums, cooperatives, and homeowners' associations (HOAs). Our clients' sophistication and needs vary widely, and we often communicate and collaborate directly with their property managers. Building and nurturing these relationships is vital to our ongoing success.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
- 1‑3 years of work experience.
- Experience serving non‑profit boards, community associations, or similar clientele is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality, detail‑oriented legal work.
- Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Strong communication skills and a personable, dependable demeanor.
- Commitment to building lasting, positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Workplace and Compensation
- Job Type: Full‑time.
- Salary: DOE (Depends on Experience).
- Experience required: 1‑3 years.
- Additional compensation: Bonuses.
- Work Location: Single office location.
