VP, Financial Consultant – Del Mar, CA

Responsibilities

• Provide wealth management and financial planning advice to existing Schwab clients.
• Grow practice by consolidating client assets, networking, and earning referrals.
• Engage clients in discussions about market conditions and long‑term investment strategies.
• Collaborate with Schwab specialists and adhere to Schwab advice guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license.
• Obtain or acquire FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance during tenure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on client communication and exceeding expectations.
• Experience managing wealth portfolios covering Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning.
• Adaptability to market and business changes.
• Community engagement passion to educate clients on sound investing principles.
• Desire to deliver outstanding investor experience while advancing own professional development.
