Job Description Overview (day-to-day, what will they actually be doing?)
The mechanical assembler position will be responsible for loading components to the feeder for the SMT process.
He/she will be responsible for making sure that the component tape is loaded into the feeder with the correct orientation and polarity. Move SMT carts/table to the SMT queue area to prep for the SMT builds. Tear down build after SMT and segregate the components to the correct bins for the stock room to transact back to inventory.
They will be required to perform basic 6S and safety awareness throughout the day.
