We are currently looking to add a Biopharma Sales Specialist in San Diego, CA.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our off-the-shelf product portfolio through proactive outreach, lead qualification, and strategic pipeline management. You will play a key role in converting leads into sales, supporting business development initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to accelerate growth.

What can I expect in this role?

This is a full-time position with typical business hours Mon-Friday 8-5pm

Some key duties in this role include:

• Executing high-volume outbound calling, emailing, and digital outreach to achieve and exceed monthly sales and activity goals

• Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within assigned markets

• Managing a robust sales pipeline and ensuring accurate forecasting in Salesforce (SFDC)

• Converting marketing-generated and self-sourced leads to measurable revenue

• Demonstrating strong product knowledge and effectively positioning off-the-shelf solutions

• Partnering with Business Development Managers to strengthen account growth

• Analyzing customer and market trends to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities

• Collaborating with Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to enhance customer experience, support campaigns, and stay aligned on inventory needs

• Consistently meeting or exceeding individual and team sales objectives

Education and/or experience required:
  • Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2 years of related sales experience required; 5 years preferred
  • Demonstrated success meeting sales targets with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM systems required
  • Practical microbiology or virology laboratory experience preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
