We are looking for a driven, solutions oriented Human Resources Business Partner seeking to help power our workforce in the manufacturing and energy sector. In this role you will work closely with the leadership teams on their strategic people priorities, providing tailored services and solutions in support of their business and talent needs. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Human Resources Business Partner for assigned Solar business unit organization(s), including serving as a consultant to leaders and employees on HR related matters, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, and fostering a culture of employee engagement and development.
- Collaborate with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Align HR policies and programs for their business unit which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Act as a trusted coach providing guidance on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary action, compensation, etc.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Travel up to 15% of the time.
Qualifications
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related experience and training.
- Extensive consulting skills: listens attentively, qualifies, and clarifies the problem to solve; takes a structured approach to problem solving, while engaging key stakeholders throughout.
- Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of Human Resources and the company's business including the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics in order to align capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance and accurately analyze situations to reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Strong influencing skills: builds strong relationships across teams and stakeholders to bring others along and set all parties up for success by effectively influencing decisions and strategies.
- Employee Relations and HR experience including knowledge of the rights and obligations in employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling HR matters.
- Knowledge of human resource function and ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.
- Talent Management experience including knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
- Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering, reporting and analyzing data.
- Proficiency in core systems: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
- Proficiency in Workday is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
Summary Pay Range
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
