POSITION SUMMARY

As a Utility Cleaner at our hotel, you will play a crucial role in supporting various hotel functions. Your responsibilities will range across departments like the kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. Your tasks will include:

• Preparing fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for our guests.
• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, such as dish washing machines and linen washers.
• Transporting dishware and linens throughout the hotel.

Success in this position requires a commitment to creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will need to:

• Present yourself professionally in both appearance and communication.
• Build positive working relationships with fellow associates and departments.
• Support the team to achieve collective goals.
• Address and respond appropriately to the concerns of your colleagues.
• Report accidents or unsafe conditions to management.

Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds without assistance, and being able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. You may also need to bend, twist, pull, and stoop.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Related Work Experience: No previous work experience needed.

Supervisory Experience: None required.

License or Certification: None necessary.
