Inventory Control Associate

Apply to join Blue Marble Communications as an Inventory Control Associate. This role is located on site. The position supports the Materials Manager in Receiving, Shipping, Kitting, and inventory management tasks. Prior professional inventory experience is not required; the ideal candidate is a self?starter with strong time?management, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Pull kits for Work Orders and Subcontract POs.
• Assist shipping and receiving duties (prepare documentation, package items, coordinate with carriers).
• Perform initial Receiving Inspection reviews to ensure documentation completeness before handoff.
• Track and follow up on items due for Receiving Inspection from Engineering, ensuring timely processing.
• Maintain stock room organization and cleanliness per 5S standards.
• Maintain inventory data and perform cycle counts.
• Ensure safety stock and Kanban levels are maintained.
• Support operations and administrative staff as needed.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies and support root?cause investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree preferred (not required).
• Experience with ERP (especially SAP or SAP B1) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Highly self?motivated and proactive.
• Excellent MS Office skills, primarily Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational and record?keeping skills, including handling confidential information.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Must be a US Person (citizenship or lawful resident status required due to export control and security?related requirements).
