Live-In Support Staff for Individual with Disabilities - Solana Beach

Join a dedicated team of staff supporting a 31-year-old male with autism in a 2br/2ba apartment in Solana Beach. We have an immediate opening to work from 4:00 pm overnight until 9:00 am Sundays - Fridays, plus 1-2 weekends a month.

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. Free rent, plus compensation.

Ideal candidate has positivity, resourcefulness, initiative, has knowledge of autism, can demonstrate person-centered behavioral management skills, and is supportive of neuro-divergent individuals.

Responsibilities include supporting hygiene, cooking, cleaning, household management skills, and life skills with verbal and visual prompts as well as role modeling. Live-in roommate will also nurture and develop community connections, work toward independence goals, cultivate hobbies, and more.

He is active in a variety of music, acting, and creative arts endeavors, has strong family support, and is enthusiastic as well as having autism. If you are interested in supporting an adult with disabilities to live a self-directed, safe, purposeful, and happy life, please contact us.

This is a paid position with a supported living agency that provides supported-living services to individuals with developmental disabilities. All employment requirements, background checks, etc. must be satisfied. We look forward to hearing from you.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00/hr (approximately $4,500 per month with IHSS)
