As a Security Officer - Active Clearance Desk in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor activity, incidents, and other relevant information as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay information and/or escalate issues as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assisting with coordination and communication from the front desk.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
