Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot and diagnose automated control systems problems, working closely with Facilities Technicians, Maintenance Technicians and Engineering personnel.
- Generate and review BMS alarms reports for completeness.
- Generate room temperature, room differential pressures and relative humidity reports based on requests from cross‑functional teams, audit requests or investigations.
- Monitor BMS and dispatch Facilities personnel to address abnormalities discovered through the BMS.
- Ensure well‑documented on‑time completion of CMMS documentation including logbook entries, work orders and alarm audits.
- Communicate with supply vendors to coordinate work while regularly updating leadership on project status.
- Schedule preventive maintenance, respond to urgent repair calls, and work with Reliability Engineers in creating emergency preparedness plans.
- Document system changes per change management procedures.
- Provide input and author URS, FS, SAT, IOQ, SOPs and PM documents.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally to support implementation of the spare parts program.
- Evaluate existing systems for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Travel between all facilities to support all functional areas.
- Regular and reliable attendance on a full‑time basis.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience required.
- Two years of experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred.
- General understanding of pharmaceutical systems and processes.
- General understanding of utility and equipment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use multimedia, email, spreadsheets, database management software, presentation software and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to enter and manage data, create reports, and effectively utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in multitasking and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Physical Demands
- Constantly required to sit and reach to use computers and other office equipment.
- Constantly stand for extended periods of time, up to four (4) hours at a time.
- Frequently required to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Constantly required to view objects at close and distant ranges with hand and eye coordination.
- Frequently required to communicate with others.
Base hourly range for this position is $32.92 – $37.04 plus annual performance bonus eligibility. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including specific and relevant experience, credentials, geography and subject matter expertise.
