SUMMARY: The Flight Line Support Technician is responsible for providing safe, effective and efficient flight line and maintenance support for the University that is in accordance with all local, state, and federal guidelines.

The Flight Line Support Technician must also uphold the philosophy and mission of the University while instilling positive and progressive attitudes in all students.

JOB REQUIREMENTS include but are not limited to the following:

COMPLIANCE:

  • Responsible for compliance with all local, state, accreditation and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that all employees and students are held accountable to the company's policies and procedures and applicable laws.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and security of campus files, documents, and reports.
  • Review all necessary policies and procedures to ensure a culture of compliance.
ESSENTIAL FLIGHT LINE DUTIES:
  • Provide aircraft and flight line services, hangar storage, towing and other ground support.
  • Provide fueling services to all aircraft
  • Ability to communicate clearly and directly
  • Responsible for maintaining aircraft cleanliness
  • Responsible for quality control standards and safety checks daily of fuel trucks
  • Ensure flight line/ ramp safety by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure flight line/ramp is clear of FOD (Foreign Objects and Debris)
  • Inspect aircraft for any disparagements and report as necessary
  • Coordinate and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing aircraft
  • Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks, and transport vans
  • Upkeep of all company vehicles including but not limited to washing, fueling, and general maintenance
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned
