Discflo™ Corporation leads the field in engineering pump solutions for hard-to-pump applications. Founded in 1982, the company has built a world-wide reputation designing industrial pumps to solve some of the toughest pumping problems.

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified CNC Mill Machinist to join our production team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-up and operate CNC mills
• Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and specialized/advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using basic knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and countersinks
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
• Must be able to understand G & M code language, as well as basic program editing

Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Candidates for this position must have at least 5 years of CNC experience, including:

• Experience and familiarity with Fanuc control
• Experience with at least 4 axis machining (5 axis experience is a HUGE plus)
• Knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
• Must be able to produce quality parts efficiently
• Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic shop math
• Must have a basic understanding of the machining process, including, but not limited to tooling, set-ups, editing, speeds, feeds
• Must be able to follow instructions and have the ability to work with little supervision
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Salary Description

$45,000 - $55,000
