Key Responsibilities: Project Management Business Development Proposal Writing and Estimating Ensuring project deadlines and goals are met Providing direction and mentorship to junior staff Managing schedules and time efficiently Technical Skills: Mapping research, boundary analysis, calculations, exhibits, and legal description preparation Proficiency in Civil 3D (preferred); MicroStation Inroads (a plus) Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Bluebeam Knowledge of Trimble Business Center and Carlson software Previous field experience is a plus
Requirements Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a California PLS and at least 5 years of office mapping experience on both private land development and public works projects. Requirements: In-depth knowledge of the California Subdivision Map Act, Professional Surveyors Act, and local Civil Codes Strong leadership and excellent communication skills Experience in: Preparing CAD drawings for boundary surveys, topographic maps, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, as-built surveys, subdivision maps, and other related drawings Processing projects with City and County agencies
