White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking a part-time Security Guard to join our team. As the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country, we are more than just a place to work. Part-Time: NOC SHIFT
- Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
To be successful in this role, you would have:
- Guard Card required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior security guard experience required
- Provides effective and courteous service to all residents, guest and team members;
- Ensures community and grounds are secure by monitoring surveillance equipment;
- Patrols community on a regular basis throughout shift;
- Assists maintenance personnel in the event of an emergency;
- Provides high visibility and presence to assure residents of caution and care;
- Documents any unusual findings, completes incident reports as needed;
- Maintains radio contact with front desk;
- Responds to emergency radio calls;
- Follows procedures for emergencies including aiding and directing emergency vehicles and personnel as needed;
- Ensures any safety hazards are removed or corrected as needed;
- May respond to emergency alarms.
