Our Apartments Division is looking for aspiring Maintenance Technicians to train and develop. If you have experience with general maintenance or handyman work, we will train you!
You will be provided with a variety of tools and resources to become a Maintenance Technician. You can expect to complete online learning, job shadow other maintenance professionals and get side by side hands on training. This role focuses on successful execution on routine maintenance tasks, basic repairs, and maintaining of property aesthetics and preventative maintenance inspections. The role also includes supporting special projects and following safety procedures.
Maintenance Essentials:
Performs maintenance service requests and preventative maintenance work throughout the community. Performs turn service for vacant units in accordance with established quality standards. Ensures community common areas and grounds are maintained in accordance to Company standards; identifies and resolves any hazards. Understanding of progress to key performance indicators and identifying opportunities. Provides excellent customer service through responsiveness and positive interactions. Performs work using safe work practices. Ensures completion of safety training and actively identifies safety issues and mitigates risks. Maintain accurate records of work performed utilizing Salesforce Perform community projects which could include painting, drywall repair. stucco repair, etc. After hours emergency calls response upon completion of onboarding
Base Pay Start Rate: $27.02
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
