Job Overview

Performs a variety ofwarehouse, inventory, facility support, and customer serviceduties to ensure smooth operations for fairgrounds eventsand year-round activities. Responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and transporting supplies, equipment, and materials whilemaintainingsafety,organizationalstandardsand strong vendor relations.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and othermaterial-handlingequipment.
• Organize, store, and rotate inventory in warehouse and storage areas.
• Pull and stage materials and equipment for events, fairs, and facility needs.
• Coordinate daily with vendor deliveries and pick-ups, ensuringtimelyandaccurateprocessingof products.
• Provide direct customer service to vendors and contractorsshippingtoand picking up products from the warehouse
• Maintainprofessional communication with vendors to resolve discrepancies and support operational needs.
• Deliver materials to various departments across the groundsin a timely manner.
• Maintaincleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas.
• Follow all state safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with event staff, maintenance teams, and vendors.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures.
• Ability tooperateforklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.(will train)
• Strong customer serviceskillwith the ability to interact professionally with vendors.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (often 50+lbs).
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules.

• Combination of indoor warehouse and outdoorfairgroundsenvironment.
• Heavy customer service-based setting with vendorsfrequentlyshipping, delivering, and picking up products.
• Fast-paced duringthe fairseason.
• Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, bending, and movingequipment regularly.
