Job Description

Shipping & Receiving Associate operations by managing incoming and outgoing deliveries of supplies, equipment, and materials used across our facilities management operations. This role ensures the accurate, timely, and safe receipt and distribution of goods while maintaining inventory integrity and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments to ensure secure and timely delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams (maintenance, janitorial, administration) to fulfill material requisitions.
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse space in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.
• Communicate discrepancies or damages with suppliers and escalate unresolved issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Due to the critical nature of storing temperature-sensitive materials and/or chemicals, experience in a life sciences environment is required.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in Life Sciences shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
• Experience using inventory systems or warehouse management software is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
