The Front Desk Agent (Agente de Recepción) welcome guests with a warm, friendly smile while handling arrivals and departures efficiently. Provide personalized service that exceeds expectations and contributes to a positive guest experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Proactively provides our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations.
  • Build guest loyalty by listening and responding to guest needs with care and attention.
  • Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
  • Deliver excellent service during reservations and use effective upselling techniques.
  • Assist all hotel guests thoughtfully and professionally.
  • Answer phones courteously using proper telephone etiquette.
  • Maintain guest records and input information into hotel systems.
  • Handle cash, credit cards, and special billing according to procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 6 months of front office experience, or 2 years of hospitality experience and/or training.
  • Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
  • Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
  • Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
