Lubrication & Maintenance Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lubrication & Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team in Poway, CA! The Lubrication & Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the upkeep, reliability, and performance of manufacturing production equipment. This role focuses on performing routine lubrication, coolant management, and basic preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform routine lubrication of machinery and equipment according to established schedules
• Monitor and maintain proper oil, grease, coolant, and other fluid levels in production equipment
• Conduct coolant/cooler fluid checks, including concentration, condition, and contamination levels
• Perform coolant exchange (drain, flush, and refill) on machines and systems following standard procedures
• Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on manufacturing equipment
• Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, overheating, or abnormal fluid conditions and report findings
• Replace filters, clean reservoirs/tanks, and remove sludge or buildup from coolant systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance and lubrication records/logs, including coolant service history
• Follow safety procedures for handling, mixing, and disposing of oils, coolants, and chemicals
• Support maintenance technicians and mechanics during repair and equipment servicing
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar standards
• Identify opportunities to improve lubrication and coolant management practices for equipment reliability
