The Warranty Administrator is responsible for processing warranty claims, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting vendors with warranty-related inquiries.
Essential Functions:
Review and process warranty claims from customers, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
Accurately enter warranty information into the system and maintain organized records of claims, approvals, and resolutions.
Track and follow up on open warranty claims to ensure timely resolution and processing.
Work closely with the inventory team to verify product defects and ensure correct handling of warranty claims.
Ensure all claims adhere to company warranty policies and guidelines.
Stay informed about product specifications, warranty terms, and conditions to accurately assess claims.
Provide general administrative assistance as needed, including preparing reports, updating warranty databases, and other related tasks.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the warranty supervisor or senior management for further assistance.
Maintain satisfactory attendance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of administrative experience.
One year of experience in the automotive industry
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in warranty claims processing, product returns, or similar roles.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stands, walks, sits; uses hands; frequently reaches with hands and arms; frequently talks and hears.
Occasionally climbs or balances; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, squats or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 15 pounds.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Work Environment/Noise:
Office setting, typically within the warranty department.
Climate controlled.
Noise level is quiet to moderate.
