Position: Receptionist

Location: Onsite in UTC/La Jolla area
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24-$26/hour, DOE
Employment Type: Temporary (through end of June)

Overview:
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial office environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and service providers, while providing administrative support to the on-site operations team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial point of contact, handling incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

• Respond to customer service requests and escalate items as appropriate

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and general correspondence

• Ensure phone and voicemail systems are functioning properly

• Issue and deactivate access cards and coordinate key requests

• Maintain vendor key sign-in/out logs

• Keep the front office and common areas presentable at all times

• Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies; assist with purchase orders as needed

• Create and distribute general notices and communications

• Track and follow up on service requests to ensure timely resolution

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support daily operations

• Maintain electronic and paper filing systems

• Assist with conference room scheduling

• Support tenant move-ins and move-outs

• Update internal databases, spreadsheets, and directories

• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred

• Proficiency in Google Suite required; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite office environment
