Dental Treatment Coordinator - Split Schedule (La Jolla & Bonita, CA)

Our growing dental practice is seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team, supporting both our La Jolla and Bonita locations. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and enjoys working across multiple offices.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week total
• 2 days in La Jolla, CA
• 2 days in Bonita, CA
• Every other Saturday required

Compensation:

• $26-$30 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview:

The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by guiding patients through treatment plans, financial options, and scheduling. This individual will serve as a key liaison between the clinical and administrative teams while helping patients feel confident in their care decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present and explain treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients
• Discuss financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and payment options
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
• Coordinate and schedule treatment appointments efficiently across both locations
• Follow up with patients regarding pending or unscheduled treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to support practice goals

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or in a similar dental front office role preferred
• Strong understanding of dental insurance, billing, and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt to working in two office locations
• Familiarity with dental software systems is a plus
