Job Title: Medical Dosimetrist

Location: La Mesa
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours / Week

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift
• Timing: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Schedule Type: 5×8 hour shifts

Weekend / On-Call

• No weekends
• No on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Develop radiation treatment plans for cancer patients
• Calculate and optimize radiation dose distribution
• Work closely with:
  • Radiation Oncologists
  • Medical Physicists
  • Radiation Therapists
• Ensure accurate treatment planning and patient safety
• Assist with treatment plan implementation

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in radiation therapy treatment planning

Required Certification

• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
  Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)

Preferred Certification

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) preferred
• Eligible to take CMD exam or already certified
