We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler 1 to join a busy operations team in San Diego, California. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting daily workflow by receiving, logging, organizing, and delivering materials across production, lab, warehouse, and office environments.

Schedule

• 1st Shift
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Pay

• $27.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and track incoming deliveries
• Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
• Process and route materials to the correct departments or personnel
• Support production, R&D, and quality teams with timely material movement
• Stage deliveries and assist with distribution of supplies and packages
• Handle temperature-sensitive, chemical, biological, and hazardous materials properly
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate inventory and delivery records
• Use systems such as SAP, Excel, and Outlook
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Provide prompt and professional service to internal teams
• Participate in safety training and follow workplace procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–4 years of experience in material distribution, shipping/receiving, inventory, warehouse operations, or a related area
• Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using computer systems for tracking and data entry
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
