Lumark has an exciting job opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team in support of the United States Navy (USN) Military Sealift Command (MSC) team onsite – this is an IMMEDIATE OPENING on an ACTIVE CONTRACT through 2029

Duties

• General maintenance services and repairs in the areas of plumbing, plastering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, and machinery.
• Perform facilities preventative maintenance, repair, removal, disposal, and general upkeep.
• Inventory management to include tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Perform weekly Building and facility inspections.
• Specialized facilities maintenance work including carpentry, painting, roofing, and welding.
• Prepare and submit reports against a set schedule.
• Lead a small team of maintenance technicians and coordinate with active duty and civilian military personnel and other contractor teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Currently hold or have recently held at minimum a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must currently reside in or near San Diego, CA and be able to commute to the MSC work location.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Job Details

• Compensation: $28 - $30 Hourly Rate.
• Hours: 40 Hours a week.
• Location: Onsite 5 days a week.

Physical Requirements
