Senior Counsel – Land Use, CEQA & Environmental Law

A leading California law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Land Use and Environmental practice as Of Counsel. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in land use and CEQA matters, with a proven track record advising clients on complex entitlement, permitting, and environmental review processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects across California, collaborating with public and private sector clients on some of the state's most significant development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land use and environmental law
• Strong working knowledge of CEQA, planning and zoning laws, and California land use procedures
• Experience advising on entitlements, regulatory permitting, and environmental compliance
• Land use litigation experience preferred
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

A writing sample and transcript is required for consideration – (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
