Schedule/Hours:

• Travel position; flexible shifts may be required

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a Nursing ORT or Surgical Technologist strongly preferred
• Up-to-date licensure and certification as required (with ongoing compliance)
• Competency in regulatory requirements, including TB testing, compliance training, HIPAA, and more
• Strong knowledge of operating room duties and surgical case preparation
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and fulfill additional responsibilities without direct supervision
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality patient care and anticipate needs before and during procedures
• Prepare and pick cases per surgeon preference cards
• Maintain meticulous equipment and instrument counts
• Report exceptions and update surgeon preference documentation
• Independently identify and act on solutions to improve care and department objectives
• Suggest process improvements and participate in teaching or mentoring
