Locations: San Diego, CA 92123
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Traveler Weekly Blended Pay : $3,395 weekly ($35/hr w2 + $1,995 week stipend)
Locals Hourly Pay : $73/Hour

Position Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role involves operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality images, and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure patient safety, including screening for contraindications (e.g., metal implants)
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Adinister contrast agents as required (per protocol)
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure proper functioning


Experience Requirements:

One year of hands on Pediatric Cardiac MRI experience including congenital CMR in a high-volume, high-complexity pediatric center

  • 1yr of recent MRI Tech experience -required
  • ARMRIT, ARRT R, BLS
  • Charting System: Required, Epic
