Provide exceptional service to members by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate credit union products and services
Open and maintain consumer accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and other deposit products
Educate members on credit union benefits, digital services, and financial solutions
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all member interactions
Originate, process, and close consumer loans (e.g., auto, personal, credit cards)
Analyze credit applications, verify documentation, and ensure compliance with lending policies
Explain loan terms, rates, and disclosures clearly to members
Work with underwriting or lending teams as needed to complete loan approvals
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including BSA, OFAC, and fair lending standards
Demonstrate advanced skills in cross-selling and relationship-based sales
Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through product and service referrals
Meet or exceed individual and branch sales targets
Actively promote credit union products, including loans, deposit accounts, and ancillary services
Track and document sales activities in required systems
Support the Branch Manager with daily branch operations, workflow coordination, and staff support
May serve as acting Branch Manager in the manager's absence
Assist with coaching, mentoring, and onboarding of branch staff as needed
Ensure branch compliance with internal controls, audits, and operational procedures
Perform teller transactions and balancing functions as required
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
Minimum of 2 years of consumer lending experience in a credit union or financial institution
Proven success in cross-selling financial products and services
Strong understanding of credit union products, services, and member-focused sales
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and lead by example
Proficiency with core banking systems and Microsoft Office applications
