We currently have full-time openings for our Veterinary Assistant Training program. This is a temporary 6 month paid training program beginning Spring/Summer 2026. The Veterinary Assistant will complete a formal program with a blended curriculum of online and hands-on training that is designed to prepare the Veterinary Assistant to sit for a national exam administered by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). Upon successful completion of this exam, you will receive the credential of Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA).
The primary responsibility of the Veterinary Assistant is to provide support and assistance to the veterinary medical staff. The Veterinary Assistant must embody the culture of treating every client and colleague with the utmost courtesy and every animal with the best treatment possible, while having keen sensitivity to the emotional bond between owners and their pets.
