Job Details

Assurant is seeking a Flood Processing Team Lead to coordinate, assign and monitor received and completed daily workflow to ensure internal and external service levels are met. This role will also act as a backup to Unit Manager and support team members as needed with processing questions, training, mentorship

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow of flood processing team
• Train, mentor and motivate team
• Prepare and deliver reports applicable to department
• Communicate directly with clients as needed
• Expected to learn and perform primary duties of the Processing
  Specialist and Sr. Processing Specialist when necessary, including the review of reports and work items for flood peril and determine if an update is necessary to ensure a property maintains adequate flood insurance coverage
• Review and response to client inquiries received via internal shared mailbox
• Make outbound phone calls to insurance carriers and agents as needed
• May receive work via tasks or control reports that identify illogical
  condition scenarios or mitigate risks; expected to research, update as necessary, identify root cause, and enter applicable feedback for user errors identified
• Special projects may be assigned if applicable to business unit
• May work on multiple clients with varying processes and procedures
• Perform updates meeting quality and productivity standards consistently
• Must manage time effectively and meet the established productivity goals
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures is required to meet
  established quality expectations.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years prior experience in a leadership role
• Black Knight and SSP systems working knowledge
• Flood processing experience
• Intermediate computer skills
• MS Office; Excel, Outlook, etc
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize to meet goals
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of banking, insurance, mortgage lending experience.

Pay Range:
$20.96 - $34.59

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
