A private family in Rancho Santa Fe (92067) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeper to support the primary housekeeper in maintaining a very large, approximately 20,000 sq ft semi-formal residence.

This is a part-time, live-out position with a consistent weekly schedule and occasional opportunities for additional hours during events or special projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with general housekeeping, including both light and deep cleaning
• Supporting laundry and ironing tasks
• Helping maintain overall cleanliness and organization of a large estate
• Assisting with table service and event preparation/cleanup as needed
• Working collaboratively with the primary housekeeper to ensure the home is maintained to a high standard

The household consists of two adult daughters living at home with the principals, along with one small dog.

The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in their work and can support a structured household environment.

Qualifications include:

• Prior housekeeping experience (junior-level candidates welcome)
• Ability to assist with both light and deep cleaning tasks
• Experience with or willingness to learn laundry and ironing
• Comfortable working in a large home environment
• Professional, respectful, and able to follow direction from a lead housekeeper
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable in a semi-formal household setting
• Must pass an advanced third-party background check (paid by client)

Additional Details

• Schedule: Typically Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (approx. 12 hours/week)
